Always store chocolate in a cool, dry place - never in the fridge. Keep your chocolates away from strong odors as chocolate absorbs odors very easily and this could affect the taste of your favorite treat.

Chocolate itself has a long shelf life by nature. The antioxidants inherently present in the cocoa bean serve as natural preservatives.

Hard Candy should also be stored in a dry place at room temperature - again, ever in the fridge. Humidity will cause the candy to soften. It is best to keep hard candy in an airtight, plastic container.

Food allergy concerns have grown over the past few years. Giambri's Quality Sweets produces products that are all natural, gluten, and/or allergen free; however, we do not have designated processing lines for these products. Our shop processes products containing peanuts, tree nuts, egg, wheat, soy, corn, milk, and artificial flavors and colors. Individuals who are highly sensitive should take this into consideration before consuming our products.

We use the same candy cane box for all flavors to maintain fair pricing. As a result, the packaging includes ingredient panels for our traditional candy canes, as well as natural peppermint and natural lemon varieties.

Most of our candy is Kof-K kosher, either dairy or parve. Kosher items will have the Kof-K logo displayed below the product description on the product's page. Please email us for a copy of our kosher certificate.

The citric acid used in our corn-free products is derived from sugar cane.

Yes! All of our candy is proudly handmade in the United States (with some imported ingredients) at our Clementon, New Jersey factory by our dedicated team and family of candy makers.

Giambri's Quality Sweets has taken the intiative to operate in a more environmentally conscious way to keep our planet beautiful for generations to come. We have and will continue to take steps toward sustainability.

◉ Our largest "green" project was the installation of 108 solar panels on the roof of our factory to provide 40% of our energy usage.

◉ By generating our own clean energy from these panels, we will save an estimated 52,727 lbs. of CO2, and 19,035 gallons of water every year. Making our own power is also equivalent to removing 57 cars from the highway.

◉ When shipping our candy around the world, Giambri's uses cartons that meet the responsible fiber sourcing requirements of the SFI Standard, Annex 1, which means our supplier must comply with all applicable laws to protect the environment, workers, and local communities.

◉ Each year, we recycle more than 2 tons of cardboard, which can save an estimated 34 trees, 4 barrels of oil, 14,000 gallons of water, and 8,000 kWh of electricity - enough energy to power the average American home for 8 months.

◉ Our office floor is made of 74% recycled wood from sustainable sources.

◉ Giambri's uses printing companies that incorporate the use of eco-friendly inks and solvents which are extremely beneficial during the paper recycling process since removing soy ink stains from paper is much easier than other artificial inks. The waste produced by soy inks does not pose any threat to the environment and can be easily treated using modern methods.
