Confection Perfection
The dark chocolate is nothing less than sublime. It’s rich in flavor and the texture is wonderful. The coconut cream is total perfection. It’s creamy and absolutely devine. This has to be the very best dark chocolate Easter Egg that I have ever enjoyed eating. I am 77, my memory is very sharp and I reiterate, this is has be far and away the best that I have ever had.
Moist and delicious!
I remember these from my childhood but have had a hard time finding them lately. After ordering from other places over the past few years, I finally tried Giambri’s, and, oh my, are these good! I got one for my brother and sister-in-law and one to share with my 91-year-old mother, who pronounced it the BEST she’s ever had. The filling is dense, moist, and holds together when sliced. Combined with the crisp, dark, chocolate, it’s not too sweet and incredibly satisfying. Decoration is quite minimal, and I do wish it had a bit more. But other than that minor quibble, this is a wonderful dark chocolate shredded coconut egg. If you’re a fan of the genre, don’t miss this one.
